What do you like to do in your leisure time? That question caught me off guard. I couldn't tell them that I like to get drunk and cuss my boyfriend out.

What legacy did you leave at your last job? or What is your role in a team? or Give an example of a time when you worked with a team and had difficulty working with particular team member(s), what did you do and what was the result? or Give an example of a time when you worked with a team and you believed you were right but had difficulty getting the other team members to see your point of view, what did you do and and what was the result? As far as legacy, I had put together a booklet of instructions and common solutions to problems I had found for those who would take my place. My role in a team was "the strongest support" to avoid any type of threatening to manager - though I'm no manager. The other two, sadly, I had to think of very tiny past situations and embellish - there were no such complete incidents so I had to make them up. Also, what are your short-term, medium-term and long-term goals? Do you have any regrets in your career? What is your greatest achievement and why? There were about 20 similar questions to these. At the end of the interview, I was so mentally fatigued, I couldn't answer the "Do you have any questions for us?" Above all else, listen intently to what the actual job is when they describe it at the very start of the interview and tailor your answers to it. The position was with a huge co. where everything (every job) was very narrow and specialized. I have done some of everything so my last feeble questions were all over the map. In hindsite, honestly, I'm glad I didn't get that job. My present co. offered me a tremendous opportunity with a generous raise. I'm very happy where I am now. They never knew about that interview.

Why did you leave your last job?

- The Universal Answer I Could Never Say -
My old boss was a real c***s****r and thought I had an attitude problem when HE was the one with an attitude problem.

- The Answer I Always Gave -
I could no longer work for someone I did not respect.

- The Actual Answer -
I was either fired or asked to leave.

what are your weaknesses.

if you say none, you lie.

if you say a couple, they had better not be dumb like "chocolate".

if you say alot, it's like telling them you really suck.

lol, hate that Q.
