wow, so im not alone, last minute papers were always my best, anytime i did something early it would only be so so, but when my back was against the wall, it somehow always brought out the best creativity. So watch tv, eat some icecream, keep telling yourself i'll do it later, but just make sure you get it done.

Wow.
You already have quite a few motivating answers.
All I have to say, is that I know exactly how you feel. I've been through it. It's summer, you shouldn't be writing, right?
The only way, is to sit down, and finish the annoying paper, and then go out and do something fun with friends.
=D

You can do it!!! In my "school" program, I have to read aprox 1400 pages a week, three critical articles, write a short paper three times a week and 4 longer ones (12-16) pages at the end of ten weeks. On top of that, one of these includes literature in translation, so I've had to learn another language in ten weeks, beause the final involves translating a passage and discussing its relevant themes. My point- You can do anything you're crazy enough to commit to doing. You've commited to this, so have the courage to finish it out. Think how happy you're going to be when it's all done! Good luck!!!

yea. My best mate was one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. she too was too lazy. she wanted to be a teacher, but at the end of uni she just couldn't be bothered anymore. and she ended up failing. she thought she would get through it, but didn't. she could have been something great. now she works in a shop, and doesn't have the money to repeat her exams. shes messed up her whole life because of laziness.
You need to just sit down think about what this means to you and ask yourself- am i gonna mess up my life and my opportunities because i couldn't be bothered. if you do you may well live to regret it. sit down calm down, have a beer, try to enjoy it. test yourself. motivate yourself. ill tell you one thing. there is no none that will ever give you chances or give you a life line. you need to do that yourself. if you have any respect for yourself and your future you need to stop reading this and do some work. you will get it done today, you have no choice. if you have to sit up till the morning it will be done because your not gonna let it beat ya. come on now. stop reading this and do some work. p.s. I'm not religious but i often find a small prayer to whoever you believe in will work. ask them for strength and motivation, you might be surprised what happens. let me know how you do! GO!!!!!! :)

That depends on the subject of the paper. The best advice for writers is that only writing is writing. Thinking about or talking about writing is not writing. All books and papers get written one letter at a time.

The sooner you get the paper finished, the sooner you can relax and enjoy yourself without having deadlines at the back of your brain. Think of some little rewards and treats that you like and bribe yourself with them.......but you are not allowed them until the paper is done, so you better get off Answers and get back to finishing your work - then funa and games can follow !!

Write LESS - - - figure out how to make your point in the fewest words possible. As an add/ocb dyslexiccixelsyd I frequestly opted for given Oral - - - I mean an oral report and most teachers accepted that - - ultimately there is a point where you just scream at yourself "DO IT."

If I were you I'd stop writing it, it's a waste of time. I'm sure you'll be able to get a good job at a gas station or in fast food without and eduction.
