Has anyone done a degree (a hard one like science or engineering) before the widespread use of PC's and the

internet and then done one (or similar high level study) recently with PC's and internet. Has it made it easier or has the convenience been offset by other factors?

I have done two degrees in Engineering one taught, one research both with PCs and the internet. PCs and the internet certainly made life easier!
