Static for sure. Are you hairy too? If so, that can be one of the reasons even if you don't wear wool. It can also be that you have super-dry skin. It's like a match-stick. Why does it create a spark? Because it's rather dry, so dry that it sparks. Same logic apply. Moisturize your skin as often as possible to prevent that from happening.

It is static electricity. This thing do happen to me in the office. We had the floor carpet. Most of the cube wall is not grounded. The monitor also produce static, and if your office is aircon.
