Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

* I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was: How to Discover What You Really Want and How to Get It by Barbara Sher
* I Don't Know What I Want, But I Know It's Not This: A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Gratifying Work by Julie Jansen
* Small Business Savvy: A Woman's Guide to Building a Business by Norma J. Rist, Katina Z. Jones
* The Woman's Advantage: 20 Women Entrepreneurs Show You What It Takes to Grow Your Business by Mary Cantando
* The Women's Business Resource Guide by Barbara Littman
* Powertools for Women in Business: 10 Ways to Succeed in Life and Work by Aliza Sherman

I also posted some article links in the source box.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

"ANY COMPANY THAT ASKS YOU TO PAY FOR A JOB IS A SCAM!"

Indeed, this is very true. But the question is not about a job. A job is where you trade your time for money, and the money you can recieve is always limited.

The question is about a business. This is a very different thing. If you buy into a franchise, you will have to pay at least $100,000, and there will be no guarantees that you will succeed.

There are many home businesses on the internet that you can start for $50 to $500 depending on whether you include your initial advertising costs. These businesses often pay for themselves and begin to pull in a profit in 3 to 4 months. An offline business will normally take two to three years before any profits are seen.

When you pay to get started in a business on the internet, you are usually purchasing the information and guidance you will need to succeed. This is a small price to pay for the literally thousands of hours it has often taken the creator of the business opportunity to get things set up for you, and like I said, it is often recouped in just a few weeks.

On the other hand, the dangers of getting involved on the web are many. The majority of business ventures in the internet are either scams or just plain worthless. You really have to do your due diligence to find a company that is honest and pays well.

For what its worth, here is a page full of recommendations that are thoroughly researched and tested to be just that. They are proven to be legitimate companies that have a high compensation plan, so you really can succeed, and most of them have a fine follow up system so you are not on your own.

Enjoy.

Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.
