the man that i am seeing has had 2 relationships before me, both of those relationships were pure physical relationships, he has had sex before and so have i, it is something we both are not proud of. Last night I told him that I want to do this right and want to wait to be initmate with him until we get married..He agreed and told me that that is something that he wants and also needs. He said that us waiting until we married to be intimate means alot to him. All of the guys i know would not wait until marriage to have sex again..Is him agreeing to this is it a sign of true love or something else?

You are lucky. That is a rare man. Most guys can't wait to get intimate even before they know you. He must really love and have respect for you.

If he wants to wait for the sake of establishing a good solid relationship first without letting sex get in the way, then he is saying it out of respect for himself and for you, but not necessarily out of love for you. Time and gut feelings answer these things.

It means he is bad in bed and does not want you to know that until you are locked in! Just kidding. 2 years is a very long time...I would think 6 months would be long enough. He justs wants to get to know you and not have sex take over.

That would be so awesome because he is waiting to give himself completely to me. I dont know about anybody else but I know that he has respect for himself and for me and thats a true sign that he is in love with me. But I think thats rare babe.

No, it's a sign of him being devoted to his beliefs. Sex and love CAN exist without marriage, and premarital sex is only "immoral" or "wrong" if you decide that it is for you.

If he marries you, that's a sign of love, but waiting for sex is a sign of his religious or moral beliefs.

I personally would find that peculiar. I would not marry a man that haven't been intimate with. I want to know what i'm getting into. Esspecially with a life partner.

Yes, it is. That means he has respect for both of you and the sanctity of marriage. It also shows that he has great self control and isn't out to get laid.

YES!!!! Men like yours are hard to find, don't push him to be intimate until you're his wife. You've got yourself a good man, do not let him go!

DEFINITELY!.. I am personally envious you have found a guy like that. He respects you. And I believe you've got a God-fearing guy there. That's a keeper.
