Everyone always forgets about the great Don Hutson. He was Jerry Rice before Jerry Rice's father was born.
488 catches-7991 yards-16.4 avg-99touchdowns.
Hutson otherwise known as the "The Alabama Antelope" played from 1935-1945 leading Green Bay to several championships, and along with the Redskins Sammy Baugh, revolutionized the game by making the forward pass legitimate, not just a gimmick play. At the time of his retirement, the closest receiver to Hutson's records had just 190 receptions. The majority of his records would stand for almost 40 years, the only other receiver to make this type of impact is Jerry Rice, whose records will stand for 40 years as well. Don Hutson was the first, and if he played today, would give even Mr. Rice a run for his money.

Since Largent & Bilitnicof are taken I'll vote for Jack Snow, an under rated W.R. for the Rams in the 60s

Steve Largent. Former all time receptions leader. Jerry Rice later broke his record.

Lance Alworth was also a great receiver.

ricky proehl by far. He was in the league for 16 or 17 years so he was obviously good enough to stick in the league. He also won a super bowl with the rams. Come on there is none better.

Dr. Christian is an idiot.
We may be slow but we can catch...Steve Largent is the best ever. Jerry Rice wouldn't have broken his records if Montana wasn't there.

Anyone that doesn't say Jerry Rice doesn't need to answer anyway. For the record I'm not a 9er's fan
