Ok I admit I am kind considered the "Fashionista" of my friends. I was wondering if anybody thinks like me on this one. I don't know if it is popular through out the country but in my area I see people going mad over these shoes called "Croc's" and now I am seeing no-name knock-offs as well they are very light weight and foamy kinda of "plasticy" if you will.....my conclusions is these are the absolutely ugliest shoe I have ever seen and would not wear these EVER....I mean why are these so popular? I can understand if people where these in setting for comfort....I have seen alot of CNA's wearing them at work and stuff like that, but alot of people are just wearing them?
Does anyone think they are some of the ugliest shoes ever made? and why are they so darned popular? I mean it just mystifies me.
Now that I have complained over such major problems in the world like these shoes--(just kidding on that one) what is your opinion of these shoes? or am I alone in my thoughts on this?

They're horrible!! It's a shame, but I'm about the only person I know that doesn't own a pair...and I never will.

I totally and 100% agree with you on this one. I hate those shoes! They are all in these atrocious blinding colors, like lime green or fuschia or something. And they are UGLY! Everyone raves about how comfortable they are. I have a friend who has more than one pair (amazingly enough). I put them on b/c I just had to know what all the noise was about. I figured these things hafta be made of marshmallow on the inside cuz that's the only way I'd be wearing them. Honestly, I didn't think they were all that comfortable. They remind me of the plastic shoes I wore as a little girl. So, I dunno. Maybe it's just people jumping on the bandwagon, cuz I don't get it at all. They are u.g.l.y.

Ugly, yes, but in a cute sort of way. They are extremely comfortable and breath better than any shoe I have every worn. But fashionable, they ain't.

I think they are ugly too. My best friend tried to get me to get some, no way,..and at 30 bucks, yeah, right! I have better things to spend 30 bucks on. They don't even look comfortable.

they are the goddam ugliest things on the planet!!!!!! Keep them off the streets!!! Aaaaarghhhh. Dammit, throw on your Nikes or something. man...I hate them. I LOVE sneakers...Especially Adidas Sambas.

i too think they are very ugly, however like you said it's all about comfort. i'm getting ready to purchase a pair to wear to my clinicals (nursing school). to each his own i guess.
