have you ever seen when any body talk on his cellphone or any type of phone, why he/she makes gesture by hand or by finger, even whom he is talking is not seeing that thing,why people make finger or hands indication???????

That is a good question. I wonder if you or I would do the same thing unconsciously? When we talk to someone, approximately 90% of our communication is body language, and only 10% is the actual verbal communication, therefore it seems natural that the 90% body language would dominate our behavior while talking on a cell phone without us really being aware of it.

They are probably great speakers/leaders/presenters. It just comes naturally to them. Really, have you seen anyone sucessful speaking on a phone without gestures or doing something else at the same time?

I have no idea if i gesticule on the phone or not, but i think it's an unconcious habbit, you hear the voice, you talk, your body language expresses the way your thoughts are running through your mind.

hey man, if the gesture doesnt offend you, does it hurt anyone, in the long run? I mean it might, but you'll be ok if they fix your computer and use some crazy hand motions or strange little ticks, and gestures.

they forget that the person they'r talking to is near, because talking on the phone creates an illusion that the person ur talking to is near..
