When I was borned, my mother was struggling for life to delivered me. I just did not know nothing at the time. Next year and after, why friend and relatives congratulate me on my birthday, instead of congratulate my mother whom has been survive in delivering me when I was borned ?

haha thats a good question. Birthdays are to show that person we are glad they were born. So on the date of their birth very year we celebrate their existance. Its more about being happy someone is in your life than about celebrating the day they were born.

Good idea. But its your birthday and not of your mom's.. We congratulate on birthdays to remind the person that one year of your life is reduced to achieve the ultimate goal of life i.e. DEATH.

You are lucky that people congratulate you. But its good only in child hood. Otherwise as much as we are growing age-wise, we are getting old. And as much as we are growing old we are going near to death (inspite of the fact that death keeps no calender). We must thank God that HE has kept us alive since this moment. God bless you too. Our life is the Gift of God and must be lived with His blessings.

You don't. Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate birthdays. You could hang out with them if you don't want to be pressured to celebrate. Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses might pressure you to do other things you don't like.
