My bro hacked my mails once bsed on a stupid assumption and it wasn't true. He could read what I chatted with my friends and also my mails. This has annoyed me a lot. What do I do?

Ok, changing your password is not going to help in this case, he may have installed a program in which he can watch your every move while your online without you even know, the only way you can find out if it's a program installed on your pc is to do a spyware search, look for allowed spywear to check to for any programs that are allowed to run on your PC...and if thats the case then u can block it

First things first, change the password to your email provider so that your bro cannot do this to you again.
Log into your email provider, and then log out again. This will show the provider that your account is being accessed, and will log you I.P address with it. Log in again to your provider, and folloe their instructions for "changing your password".
Log out again after you have completed their instructions, and close you web browser.
Open a new page, and log in again to your email account with your new password.
Getting into the habit of doing this at least once a month ensures that your accounts remain secure. Also make sure that he isn't looking over your shoulder, or lurking around in the background when you are inputing your new password.
What he has done is totally bang out of order. YOUR email account is exactly that. It is YOURS.
How would he feel, and react, if you opened one of his letters that was delivered by the postman?

If he hacked your mail once he will do it again brothers do that kinda of thing-- This is what you do --write just what you want him to know -- something so good that he would have to tell people -- make up a friend your age and write to her and make her a real email address (you get the idea) and have one tell you that she is I dont know something and its your brothers or your brothers fault or your brother did it --- get even with the little turd it the best way

you need a safe delete data program such as system mechanic pro that is what i use safe deleted data i also have a program called the *incinerator* small enough to send to you via email and it passes the governments military requirements of deleting data over and over again up to 10 times 7 times is secured for our military you want the er program?? i use only 3x delete as it takes longer but no one can recover what u type or what you delete rather bye have a nice day :)

It is up to you to deal with your own emotional response. Tell your brother that you are annoyed with him and explain why. You might want to let your friends know too as their privacy has been violated as well. When you take action in response to a problem it enables you to move on.

i have two little sisters and they do stuff like that to me. First you should find something that he did wrong or something embarrassing and threat him telling him you would spread the word if he doesn't give you your privacy again. next you should change your password and email address. there is plenty of programs you can install so only you have authority of your stuff. hopefully this will work!!! protect your passwords and make it clear to him that you need your privacy respected. And be careful what you leave in writing, if you dont want it found, make sure you dont leave it in writting especially when you have a snoopy brother who has already proven to be untrustworthy. PASSWORD EVERYTHING get msn plus and you can even encrypt your logs

Program called steganos safe... Save all your information in it, it has a 256bit encryption, if he hacks that, then i never wanna go up against him!

change your username and or password. tell your mom. find his password. report that someone else has got into your account to the owner of the site they can help. see if you can use advanced security,like in hotmail
