In a public place sure; walking down a dark alley no.

It would depend on the situation. If I were walking in a dark alley by myself, and the stranger with the cards came from behind a dumpster, I would walk away...no I'd run away.

But if the stranger were set up on a busy street corner, I'd watch no problem.

I would watch the card trick, but promise him no money or food or anything of mine. I would tell him that would be stealing and I do not want him to take anything that does not belong to me. and then I might throw a log at his head, if one were handy.

i'd walk away. i don't know which country you are in but in my country, if somebody offered to do that, there's probably a pickpocket near by and when the card trick is over, you'll realize that you've lost something.

If he's not a pickpocket, he wants to engage you in the oldest scam in the books. Walk away. Walk away. Walk away.

Why would I want to walk away? He's just gonna show me something, nothing to lose. I would try to solve it. But if he asks for something, I wouldn't.

me and my friends were cutting up in a restaraunt one evening, and this guy overheard us talking very badly about one another's mothers, and he decided he wanted to show us a magic trick.

it was funny because we were already calling attention to ourselves, and then this guy gets up and starts doing a bunch of tricks. it was goofy!
