It feels like there ARE way Too many ads in soaps. It takes up about 15 min of the whole show! I know shows needs sponsors but this is ridiculous. Scenes are SO short it makes acting seem so easy. Why cant they devote an entire soap to lets say 2 storylines only like one day just show Luis and Fancy and Sheridan and Chris and then show Allistair plotting. I'm sick of just very short scenes with my favorite storylines-- some scenes are only 2-3 minutes. I want entire show to be devoted on 2 storylines THE MOST! Why cant they cut out so many COMMERCIALS. ITS JUST BEEN GETTING TO ME LATELY THAT I CANT SEE ENOUGH OF MY FAVE STORYLINES. And whatever happened to the Katherine Martin Pillar storyline- that was one of my fave stories- why would they put that on hold. They need to get rid of mermaid story and whole Miguel Kay Fox storyline. I cant stand actor who plays Fox & dont care for the actor who plays Miguel much either. Anyone else agree with all this- please post your thoughts here.

I'm sure they will replace everyone on Passions soon. It seems like they do every few months!. The mermaid storyline is totally ghey! I hardly ever watch Passions, but watch Days some. They have been playing more and more commercials, but that seems to be the case for all shows/channels, not just Days/Passions.
I watch old re-runs of Magnum PI, and the 4 commercial breaks each last under one minute(they can't show more comm than they did when Magnum originally aired, or they would have to extend the time slot from 1 hour to 90 min).

Thank you! I have to say I agree with just about everything you said! I did really like the Fox/Kay storyline when the original guy was playing Fox. Now that they recast him, I wish the would just send Fox back where he came from.
As for Katherine/Pilar/Martin storyline, I miss it too!
And for God sakes, LET Theresa and Ethan be together for once. I hate the direction they are taking now, giving us the impression that Theresa may hook up with this jerk Jared. The best part of Passions is hoping Gwen will get what is coming to her, but we have waited long enough!!!

yeah i get upset because when it gets good a commercial or its going off. I dont know about pilar and katherine. The new fox is ugly i want the old fox back and the new miguel back too. Dont get me wrong miguel (new) is sexy. who knows and what is going on with chad and this mystery woman he is with?
