Day in and day out you see others that will attract you but it is up to the person to make the decision of who and what they want in there life. If they choose to decieve then they may have lost something that could have been the best thing in there life. If they choose to be faithful then they may be just that happy that they couldn't hurt someone that has always been there for them. KNowing what you have in life makes all the difference. And choosing what you want can be the greatest thing you can ever have. If you love someone don't cheat and if it's about lust then it's best you let it go before anything starts. KARMA

People make compromises as they enter relationships. They decide to be with a person now, rather than to be alone. Then when someone comes along that is closer to their idea of what they want, the chase after it. Often people have no interest in trying to make a relationship work, since we have all been raised on the fairy tale that there is someone, a soul mate, that is perfect for us. A person with whom we will never have to work at a relationship, will never fight or disagree with and will live happily ever after with. If only those dreams were real, the world would be a happier place.

Very good question.I think the first reason is because they got bored. When you already have something, you don't need to fight or to make efforts for that...so here comes the platitude... and then the coldness and the next step the reciprocal accusations..and that's it.. the final step: trying to find another partner and after you found him, divorcing.

I think it's because of this stupid romanticism that books and movies still imply today. People believe if they don't fit perfectly, they must separate and get another mate. Relationships must be worked on, I agree.

why not? people many times dont run away from their relationship because there is something wrong with it. they run away because they have lost their independence. It's really hard to be with someone, manage to be independent, and retain your characteristics as a human.
