I used to have a ghost cat that slept in my room on my bed. It was weird coz i could feel it at my feet and I knew it was a cat but I couldn't see it.

thought I was nuts til I told my ma and she was all relieved cos she thought she was nuts when she thought she had a ghost cat sleeping with her some nights too. then my sis confirmed it too.

Anyone have anything similar happen?

Oh I know the cat was totally harmless. I was never afraid of it. But it definitely wasn't my cat. It was in that house from before and it never came with us when we left. Plus I would have known if it was mine I think.

can relate to the footsteps thing. Once had an old man walk down the passage. Well - twice actually.

It's weird how unscary it is - I just felt so excited to be experiencing something so strange.

I grew up in a haunted house in Clarksburg, WV. It is documented. The ghost would reset the clocks, one by one, in the house after the power went out. That was in 1985, before battery-back up in digital clocks. We had SEVERAL types of clocks in the house anyway....and he'd always reset them. He'd also kick my brother in the butt when he mouthed off to my mother.

As a ghost hunter I would say about 30 percent of all hunts I have an experience with a ghost or two. Before I was a ghost hunter, yes. I was about 9 and I saw the ghost of a little girl chase a ghost dog in my room. I only recently found out from my mother that there was a girl that was killed (murdered) in that house. The house I live in right now has a spirit of a woman we call "Rose" because of the rose perfume that is around when she is present.

I understand about the cat thing, I had a dog that would "jump" on my bed after he'd been put down. He would always walk up and down the bed, and then settle in by my knees. I know which dog it is, because only one dog actually did that exact same thing while he was living. It was comforting.
I also happen to have a female gohst in my house. when my daughter was a baby, I would put her to bed and turn on the baby monitors. A couple times, late at night, while the house was all quite, I could hear her singing to my daughter, always the same song, one I've never heard before or since. Never really had anything with ill-meaning gohsts, thank goodness.

I've always had that - there's something out of the corner of my eye - (and NOPE my eye site is FINE)

My daughters room had the smell of my Grandfather's aftershave the same night she had a "conversation" and giggle session. This was before she was understandably verbal. She talked to someone for at least 20 minutes and giggled the whole time.

I have something in the house that I call my Ghost Pig. It's a short fat shadow, and it can go from room to room. Never done any harm, my husband has seen it too - and strangely enough he called it a Ghost Pig too!!!!

I've had to ask a few of my daughter's nighttime visitors to leave - as there have been times that she's been upset by them. (OK here's where you roll your eyes, but even my Catholic hubby has asked me to "clear" the room before when she hasn't been a happy camper). For those of you who think, 'well that's just night terrors' - unfortunately she does have those, and there is a HUGE difference in how she acts during a night terror, and when there's "someone" bothering her!!!!

Now I'm not calling Ghost Hunters to come by (although I would like to meet them - as they seem to be REALLY interesting people) - but I have had a LOT of things happen that can't be "logically" explained.

Omg! Yea!!! My house used to be old farm land like 9 years ago, but because of some obscene reason, they built many a houses. Well any ways, I always see this farmer guy, walk from my bathroom [which is upstairs] to the stairs. My bedroom is in between. Wells, I used to see this cat in my garage, and everytime I looked up and called for my mom, and looked back down it wasn't there. Because my bedroom is rite next to the stairs, I memorized everybody's footsteps. Well one day I heard one that wasn't anybody's in my family, and it was late at night, and the door was all locked, it had a lil limp, and it was walking down the stairs, Well because I didn't know who's it was, I ran over to my door and saw nobody but I kept hearing it. And I too have a ghost cat that sleeps on my feet. Like as I was going to sleep I noticed this thing, jump up onto my bed and it stayed onto my feet, so I turned the light on to nothing, then when I turned the light off and tried to fall asleep again, it rolled off my legs and jumped off. It was sooooo... freaky!

My grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer around the time of my birth and had one lung while I knew him. He was always in his recliner with his green oxygen tank. I was his favorite grandkid. Pap pap was sick on my 4th birthday and we didn't get to spend much time together , so I was looking forward to a visit with him the next week, but my mom said he was in the hospital for tests. A couple weeks went by and I saw him in my crib while I was down for a nap. He was wearing this weird hat that I'd never seen him wear (b/c he was always in his chair in his pjs). It was just his head and it was kind of shadowy and it was on the drapes in my room (they were pulled b/c I was supposed to be napping). I started to scream and he said "shh shh, It's okay, I'm feeling better now. Don't worry about me, I'll be watching you." At which point I screamed and jumped out of the crib and got stuck in the room b/c of the baby gate. I told my mom that my grandfather was in my room and he was wearing a weird hat and that he said he was feeling better, but he had no legs. My mom then cried and told me he'd passed 2 weeks before, so it couldn't have been him. Years later, I found a picture of him from long before I was born and he was wearing the hat I saw him in. My mom said it had been his favorite. Weird, huh?

Yep, dealt with ghosts off and on. It's always kinda spooky, but as long as they don't mean you any harm I guess your ok. I've had a ghost cat, but she left once I got 2 more cats.
