for me, I think of course it is the UP-Manila's and University of Santo Tomas' course that offers the best in nursing education. Though it is hard to enter (I failed at UST Nursing *sigh*) the schools mentioned, the education is really outstanding. But, next year or so, (2007- ) Ateneo de Manila will open its School of Public Health, and will probably offer Nursing program, with the Medical City as its affiliated hospital.

the nurses from the philippines who come to the US and the UK are not too good.. not too smart.. of course there are always exceptions to the rule.. a small number are good and smart enough but generally there is a language gap (because of broken english, or accent difficulties) and some just are not strong enough for the growing obesity problem in the US and the UK..
