for the first thime, my hamster hasnt bit me but that was when it was on the back of my hand. do i trie it on the palm again next time or keep it on the back of my hand.

Go with what works at first. Then, as he learns to trust you, you can do more with him. On the palm of your hand or in your shirt pocket. Just go slowly and be patient.

i used to breed hamsters and i always was able to train them not to bite. just to give you a hint wash your hands before and after you hold them. if they smell anything on your hands they will bite cuz they want to taste that smell. and wash your hands after, cuz even tho they live in a cage they still have diseases that they can give you
