If your mind is pre-occupied with worry and other things(even if you won't admit it), yes, you will always have trouble falling asleep.
Free your mind and live each day, day by day. Too much worry will just cause you stress.
But if you have seen a doctor and you've got insomnia, then medication will help a lot. Although most of these meds can be habit-forming (and expensive if you are on a tight budget), so I should say that finding contentment and inner peace will help you greatly to find that deep sleep you always yearn for.

i have to problems with falling asleep because of the internet (this is the 5th night that i haven't slept)but i thing that the old tricks might work. I've heard that if you drink a glass of hot milk you get tired and fall asleep. I think i'll try it to!

I tried yougart and it helps me. Try setting a specific bedtime and before that specific time relax and undwind. You need to prepare yourself to fall asleep. Take a hot bath, turn off tv music etc. Dim the lights. In your mind just run through all the events that happened to you during the day and let them go. Hope you find something that works for you!

I always read a book and every night I end up reading the same pages because I've fallen asleep and forgotten the storyline.

I sometimes take up to 3 mg of Melatonin to help me go to sleep. Benadryl might help too, I have seen it given in nUrsing homes as a sleep aid.

insomnia is caused by various diseases like hyper tension, diabetes, renal diseases and stress and due to old age. drinking one glass of warm milk, making bed comfortable and making the bed room dark and Jacobson's relaxation techniques and self hypnoses will help you to get sound sleep. if all these techniques fail better to consult a good doctor
