I have heard that a old friend is now in prison and I would like to find out if this is fact. All the sites I go to want money and I dont have money to spend for this.

If he's in a State Prison, do a search that looks like this, except without the quotation marks....
"Yourstate corrections prison inmate search"
That will get you links to the inmate lookup services.

whatever state they are in you can put like if it was FL you put FL dept of corrections but use google I had a friend in high school I found out he was in prison and now we write back and forth and I am married but I am happy we reconnected he really needed a friend he is always looking for penpals let me know if you might be interested I will send you his address

you have to call the prison itself and ask for that person

go to google and type what state u r in and put department of corrections or whatever state there in and type department of corrections that outta help u its free
