As far a me personally,
I had cancer in 1996 and I didn't work for almost a year. We went through all our savings and borrowed money as well as ran up huge credit card debt.

As of July 1, 2006 we are debt free except for the original mortgage on the house(which we are accelerating the payments) and $312,766.43 spread thoughout 15 different accounts. Every month I do a full reckoning to track the investments and the asset allocation.

I would have to check, but I think about 200 dollars since I gave my sister 300 dollars as a gift because she is going to school and working at the same time.

negative balance. my car has been in the shop since Monday getting fixed. ( foreign car had trouble finding a rim) so I did not get to the bank. And anyways it was to dam hot to go outside. And I have a home office, so no need to leave the house.
