Does ‘Omakara’ end the same way as ‘Othello’?

Omkara isn't a Hindi adaption of Othello . Its based on it . The director has given it his touch . Say , the characters are not straight out of the book but have been a given a twist . Am sure of one thing , its going to be one awesome movie . Its not difficult to figure out . Look how much R&D almost everyone had done as in you dont see your regular artist there but you see real life people . Good job .

No, its not. but the Director done the right job to adopt Othello into a desi verson. The reaserach work of film is superb. The Othello is quite different than Omkara, This is a real affort to draw Omkara to Indian canvas. the pace of the film and the end of the film is little bit slow. The second half of the film is quite change.

I find a strong reason. To give weight to the character the director pull the pace of the movie. but it is a fare enough.

Now we can go through on the track of Oscar. this film provide confidence to the film maker.

Ya !!! Omkara Is a quite Desi than Othello . Othello was for west Omakara is 4 east & ya who said it may be flop I think it is going 2 be a blockbuster.

no not exactly.the end of this movie have been twisted a little.i havent seen the movie yet but the awy people are tellling me about the end it's not exactly like othello bcoz i've read the script of othello.but i'm sure that movie will be awesome.u shud go n watch the movie.

If all the characters of 'OMKARA' act as same as all the characters were in 'OTHELLO' , then sure this story will also end the same way as 'OTHELLO'.

having read the play once i was very eager to watch the movie.. but i was i bit disappointed with the way it actually turned out to be,langda tyagi's character has been portrayed by saif extremely well but the same cannot be said for ajay devgan..if one reads the play then it would be quite clear that othello was never arrogant...ajay however has portrayed himself a bit too conceited for my liking...even the end has been twisted and turned for the liking of the indian audience..sorry vijay bharadwaj, but i could not help but yawn

no i heard that story is same but the climax has been changed and given a typical indian end and said that even shakesphear will be e shocked and will come out of grave after looking at the end
let's hope it is not as usual some thing different
but every one is talking about role of Langda Tyagi which saif has done
i heard he had been chewing paan for so long time that his teeths became yellowish to get into the character and has to look for a dentist for twice for cleaning

omkara is an excellent movie and i m sure it is way too difficult for our cheap indian audiances (most of them are shahrukh's fans) so its for a class not for all masses. i saw it yesterday i was amazed by the talent of mr. vishal bhardwaj. he is a director as well as a music director also a singer. a true talent of india, not like shahrukh who is wrongly over hyped. till we do not discover the talent like vishal bhardwaj and appriciate it also help it reach international audiances of oscar, our film industry(bollywood) will always be a subject of joke for hollywood and rest of th world. and as this question is concerned, after watching this movie it really doesnt matter the end is same as othello or not coz OMKARA IS ITSELF IS A MILESTONE. GO AND JUST WATCH THIS MOVIE, IF U KNOW A LITTLE BIT WAT IS REAL ART.

no because vishal bhardwaj has made his adpatiton of othello so i think it will ahve different ending not like othello ending.and with such a great star cast i really think vishal has done something new with the film.
