Okay, I have index.html divided into 3 frames, 15%/85% rows, the top being the banner for my site. Then I divided the85% in the same ratios, the left being the sidebar...
Lol, what I am asking is that I want the very top frame (banner one) to be a picture, but how can I assure that it will look the same on all browsers? Also, the frame sizes change, won't my picture be displayed wrong then? Here's the source...

For the frame sizes changing, I mean like in resizing the window, the absolute sizes change, but the relative ones stay the same.

//e.g. the actual height of the banner is 180 pixels, better use the actual size rather than the percentage here.

for the resolution of the screen, actually you can set it by javascript to ensure is it in your size but I'm not recommend you to use coz' many computre prohabited the action of javascript so it would be blocked anyway

Well if you're making use of HTML and frames surely your no longer making use of css frames with html... this could be the simplest... seeing that u can simply set the margins... hiya I bet that could paintings with html too :)

each user can set their own resolution and monitor size , so it's beyond your control.

if i were u i would take the most common monitor resolution and adjust my image according to that most common resolution.

1024x768 is probably one of the most common monitor resolutions, and might be a good start.
