I do, but unfortunately that's impossible for us to do now. We're too far deep thanks to Mr. George W. Bush. I hope my friend and everyone else's family members that are out there return home soon, safely, and in good health.

Not me! I'll never forget 9-11 and we must persist to show the world we will not stand for terrorism. If we bring our troops home we are shouting to the world we are now complacent and aren't worried about terrorists invading our soil. Well the facts are that terrorists are already in place, but not making headway because of our aggressive stance and intelligence. There's lots of confidential information not given the public due to it being classified and we wouldn't know what to do with it anyway, but I do not ever want to see another city struck with terrorism like 9-11. Too many lives were lost and if there's a follow up, some of my loved ones may die in it. We must remain vigiliant and back
our government if we don't want to be the next terrorist victims.
If the next terrorist act is a biological act of some kind, we won't need a national health insurance plan because we'll all be dead anyway. First things first!

Until the Islamo-fascists are completely defeated we cannot bring our troops home. To do so would only give the enemy time to commit another atrocity such as 9/11.

If we don't take the fight to them they will most assuredly bring it to us. I salute the fine men and women who are paying the price of freedom and their families who are also paying a heavy toll. On a local level the families of soldiers are looked after (at least here) and if I hear of any need they have I make sure it is met.

This is the very least I can do for those who defend my kids from evil.

And maybe get attacked again...

Don't be quick to forget that the foreign policy approach of the 90s is mostly to blame for what led up to 9/11. We ignored the threats and the attacks Al Qaeda carried out. Bill Clinton blew 3 opportunities to kill Bin Laden.

I doubt you are aware how important it is for our troops to be stationed in dangerous areas of the world. We have to move the battlefront away from the homeland, or the freedoms and national pride you cherish could be directly attacked and eventually compromised.

We need to fight this war Smarter not Harder. Then we can bring some of our guys home. But, since the current Administration is lacking in the requisite IQ points we are going to be stuck until '08
