I had braces from 4-8th grade. I also had glasses. So when I got them off in the summer between 8 and 9th, I was too cute and no one knew who I was. Be patient. I had all the guys checking me out and it was worth it because I have great teeth. (Thanks Mom, you were right. It was worth it.)

Get cute colors in the mouth, Maybe they will comment on the 'hot yellow braces' ... or fall in love with a guy who also has dental issues. Trust me im in the same boat,

If he is currently not a close friend, then I would take it slow. Say hello every once in awhile. Then get into a little deeper conversation, like w/e interests you. By then you'll know what to do.
If he is a close friend. Dont go for it, it never works out.
