I first had religion, where I found the reason to love. I still have religion and i still love, do you suppose they might be connected? In religion we learn to love further.

Definitely Love! Religion is a personal belief and a private matter and should be kept within the confines of our home. It is not something to be exhibited or to be made a show of. It is a communion between self and God and a sacred matter. How does it really matter how do we pray to our God? What matters, is how much love we have in our hearts and how honest we are in our prayers. Someone once said "Love has its own timeless effect, love is it's own eternity and where there is love there is no evil."

Love without question - I don't exactly believe that a stiff, disciplined religion is important in life, but I do think that a faith is, and if this was a question about love vs. faith, that might be a lot more difficult to answer.

religions lead to politics. politics are mean because they cause others to want more power than those that have gained it via people following whatever they say.
religious institutions are instituted because most people follow a leader rather than thinking on their own two feet. voodoo meetings are meetings of hate. voodoo is an institutional belief.
the so-called religious are more often hypocrits who hate their neighbor even as they sit there pretending to love them. it is a weekly pretense, an act. they pretend to love them in church/institutions because the leader has told them that they must love.
love comes from within, which we normally refer to as our heart.
we give love and are happy to make another person happy with our love. love is free. tithes are an unrealistic obligation to mormons that usually have families comprised of 15 people.
loving takes work, but that work is rewarding not only because you are giving someone else good feelings, but because you wish to give it.
love is not held within any institution.
love has no icon because it is emotion. we are emotional beings.
some preachers preach so much of hell and brimstone that one wonders, "how can i love?"
"WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW IS LOVE, SWEET LOVE... IT'S THE ONLY THING THAT THERE'S JUST TOO LITTLE OF..."
"LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED, YES YOU DO...SHE LOVES YOU, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH... LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED..."

Love bar none: a good love in ones life can have one feel they are in Heaven on Earth. And if the couple live according to their religious beliefs, may they too find religious rewards.

I would choose 'LOVE' because there is someone to talk to, someone accompanying you during the weekends. If there are problems someone to consult and taking advises.
Religion - they are only a statues. Does not help much when you are in moody state or when advises are required....

One does not need religion to receive the love of God Almighty.

As celibate4ayear notes, love is real and has its rewards. Religion is superstitious nonsense which causes more trouble than it is worth. (Although I will not argue that it is utterly worthless -- the sense of community among its adherents is worth something.)
