I think so. It is so to start a world war to kill of 2/3 of the population. This is only the means to an end.

You have to know that when we got into WWII, it wasn't called World War 2. It was the war against the Nazis (ideological war) then the Japanese attacked so we fought for retaliation for Pearl Harbor
If this isn't the beginning of WW3, well I don't want to be here for the next one. And please don't kid yourself - this is not war against terror - this is an ideological war with President bush shoving Democracy and Christianity in their bad old Islamic faces to prove he's got a bigger, um vocabulary, yes that's it vocabulary

yes, especially if the US really pisses off China, the new rising super power. China is frustrated with the US, as are most countries.. all that keeps most countries (including European!) turning against the 'west' now.. are economic and political interests. But if the US keeps frustrating the middle east by continued backing of Israel's atrocities, and keeps undermining the UN, keeps undermining international criminal court in The Hague, keeps violating WTO rules to protect national markets, and in general keeps telling the world they can or can not do things, while the US and Israel themselves continue to do them themselves, I think we will reach a breaking point one of these days.

And if WOIII would start, it would be like none before, with more nukes than ever, in the hands of not just one.. and with us living in a multicultural world, it would cause war not only between nations, but also within them (and when you don't own apache's and scuts, your only means will be that of 'terrorists'.)

What we learned from WOII is that things can turn ugly almost overnight.. neighbours who were like family, can turn against you and take your life. And it isn't a hand full of 'terrorists' as defined solely by the west, who can unleash WOIII.. it is the superpowers of today that make that decision by whether they use their power to extinguish fires, or start them.. and so far, they've been starting them. I have never seen such irresponsibility in my life.

600 innocent civilians killed in Lebanon.. no apologies from Israel, nor regret.. only determination to turn more against them, to motivate more people to hate and revolt against them.. they are digging their own grave. How do they ever expect to live in peace when with your neighbours when you turn all of them against you?
It's one thing to choose to be in the millitary and die in battle, than to lose a parent or child to 'collateral damage'. Then your purpose in life is pretty much determined.. revolt and revenge.. and those are understandable personal emotions, but when politicians lack self control and act on these personal emotions just the same, one should question their maturity, wisdom and sense of responsibility. Their visions are blurred with hatred. Inexcusable!
