Ok here are a few places: you need a portfolio ok? So get your friends to take a picture of you send it to these places:

www.stormmodels.com (you should go to Become a Model or My Castings) you can also look at the New models and the most famous ones: it will help with your portfolio. You need various different kinds of pictures from all angles and from your face and full body.

I don't think so because most of the modelling careers requires your physical presence on the spot in order to make the interviewer see what you have in person to offer to them.That is to say,how you look off the camera and what is your figure type and the whole package. Also, your porfolio of profiles should be with you at that time.
