We have been good friends, and our kids love eachother.Do you think our ex's have any business in getting mad if we get romatically involved? Our ex's have been married about 5 yrs.
Any comments/advise/suggestions or web sites about ex's of ex's who fell in love would be appreciated.

Interesting situation, I would think it might be harder if the kids are really small, if they are not, then I would say who cares what both your ex's would think! At least you all know each other. I doubt they would care, and if they did, I would wonder why they would.
THEY are married, they have no right. And the more I think about it, I think it's rather nice, and kinda romatic: two souls who meet after their ex's married each other, and fall in love? Would make a good movie. I say go ahead, talk to the kids, see how they would feel about it. It is their feelings that matter most. Let the "ex's" go on with themselves, happy about it or not, who cares, they ain't with you guys anymore, screw them! Be happy, and a happy family!

It all depends on how they feel about it. And how your kids feel abou it. If the kids are over 16 than i think you guys can hook up with no probs.

Geez your exes married each other and now you guys are gonna hook up? I will admit that DOES sound weird but as long as it's genuine and not a matter of convenience then go for it!!!!!

Go for it. They shouldn't have a problem with the two of you getting together if they are happily married. It'll just make you a much bigger family.

This isn't that rare of a case either. I hear about stuff like this happening all the time.

No, they have no business in YOUR business. I would advise that you both limit any thing you may say that is bad about your exes....not a good idea. And, I must admit, it would certainly be convenient for the kids, wouldn't it? Good luck

It's a free country. You'd
make it easier on the kids, because they would only have one set of step siblings to deal with. Seriously.

Nope. THey have no right to be upset about it. You have every right to see and be romantically involved with anyone you want, since you are both free.
