Don't spend that much for preseason. You only get to see the starters for a few series and then the second, third, forth teams.
My suggestion: Go down to the stadium on regular season game day, party with the tailgaters and talk to the scalpers. Sometimes you can get some good tickets through them. If you don't mind being patient, they lower the prices after the first quarter (you know you can spend half a quarter waiting in line to use the john in some stadiums anyway). If it doesn't work out then go to the sports bars near the stadium and catch the game there. You'll still have a great time. It always works out somehow.

Yeah, go for the regular season tickets. The preseason games are fun sometimes, because you get to see rookies, backups, and people trying to make the team go all out to impress the coaches and win over some fans. But you gotta go when the real team is playing and when one game can determine the whole course of a season.

The early preseason games are always back ups, fringe players that may not make the rosters, and guys that will play mostly on special teams.
The late preseason games will have your star players maybe playing one quarter to tune up for the regular season. A lot of times, you'll see starting QB's and RB's play only one possession or even one series of downs until they sit back down again.
I'd buy the crappy tickets for the regular season.

Preseason sucks. They put in all the scrubs after the first couple of series, the coaches don't strategize to win at all, they want to test out thier roster depth. The pace of the game is usually really slow, and the offense is rarely stomachable, and never spectacular. The crowd's are tiny and full of scout troops.
Unless you really need a Cowboy's fix, I'd say skip it and use the dough to pay for Sunday Ticket.

unless you want to see how good the 2nd and 3rd string players are they are a waste of time. but if you want to go see a Cowboys game this year i would recommend going to the preseason game just you wont see the starters play that long.

Preseason games are worthless, unless you're an undrafted free agent trying to make the squad.

definite, they prefer to get rid of one million or 2 of the pre season video games and upload a million or 2 regularly happening season video games. the hot commish is searching to earn more funds, and he feels the pre season video games are type of a waste of time.
