Yes, It's all relative, as you're moving in the car, you'll be moving at the same speed as the light bulb, and therefore you will "see the light" (oh lord be praised!) ;-)

That's a question that I'll contemplate tomorrow when I'm idling on the 405.

It'll make it burn.

OK. There are two parts to the answer of your question:
1. nothing can tavel at the speed of light that has mass. Only light can travel at the speed of light, and it has no mass. Thank god or our equations wouldn't work, and it would suck walking outside on a sunny day and being pelted with a bunch of little sun darts and
2. if you were approaching the speed of light, light would still travel at the speed of light relative to you. Light travels at a constant velocity in all frames of reference. the famous postulate of relativity. So yes interior light would come in.

(this is basically the same question that Einstein contemplated for 'bout 10 yrs before developing special relativity).

Unless of course youre on the 405, which is actually hell and thus the properties of the universe are different.

If you were traveling at the speed of light, you wouldn't need a car. Reason: traveling at the speed of light, your mass would be infinite; so you would be everywhere, with no need of a car to go anywhere.

I'm still working on the problem of whether or not the light inside a refrigerator goes out when you close the door.

i love this kind of question...

the light would not come on as in order to travel at the speed of light, you would need infinite energy. therefore the car battery would be flat and the light wouldnt work!

Yup, the dome light would come on, and you would see it. In fact, if you turned on your headlights, they would shine down the road in front of you just as they should. And, if there was somebody behind you going the same speed, you would see their headlights just as though you were only moving at 60 mph.

yes it will because the light in your car is traveling with you so you will see the light come on

yes the car is rigged so the light always goes on. This would just take slower than normal
