Pat down searches at the concerts/arena games?

Question

Do they perform pat down searches at the concerts and at the arena sports games even if you're not under the suspicion of anything?

While they're patting you down would they touch you in the buttocks area?

Yes and I welcome it myself: given past terrorist attacks pre- 9/11, I'm frankly amazed we in the US haven't yet had such strikes in during arena concerts and/or sporting events.

As a rock musician on stage, many many (and many more) years ago, I often thought about the danger of being in front of huge audiences. Evidently, so have many other music or theater stage performers--we all keep moving around.

Unfortunately I have never gone to a rock concert before, I hope they'll only perform the pat down searches on the ones under suspicion, a friend of mine went to a Bon Jovi concert last winter and she told me she'd never had to go through a pat down search although the security did search her purse.

I've never seen it happen to everyone at once but a few random people every now and then yes. But if they decide to pat you down, why would you care if you aren't hiding something?

Wouldn't know. Don't have the money to go to these events!

In my opinion, If I was the promoter I would DEMAND that this is done at all my venues.

Better to be safe than sorry later on!

YUP YUP....THEY PRETTY MUCH PAT DOWN EVERYONE, YOU NEVER KNOW BY LOOKIN AT SOMEONE IF THEY'RE HIDING SOMETHING OR NOT
