anywhere from $20 at a hack shop to $100+ at a good shop with very high quality jewelry. Plus tip.

Call the piercer you plan on going to and ask them. Or if they have a website sometimes they list prices.

and louis d, where did you get your hep C "info"? The CDC (that is Centers for Disease Control .. where infectious diseases are reported and studied) states :: "no data exist in the United States indicating that persons with exposures to tattooing alone are at increased risk for HCV infection. For example, during the past 20 years, less than 1% of persons with newly acquired hepatitis C reported to CDC's sentinel surveillance system gave a history of being tattooed."

It has also been shown that "of the 13,387 annual cases of hepatitis detailed in the most recent CDC report, 12 are associated with tattoo studios. By comparison, 43 cases -- or better than 300% more -- are associated with dental offices." Hepatitis Surveillance, Report Number 56, April, 1996, Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Maybe you should worry more about going to see your dentist.

far too much. one study showed that a significant percentage of people with hepatitis C had probably got it from tattoes or piercings. these people do not really understand sterile conditions.
next you alienate yourself from a large number of people- people without piercing

skin was made to stay intact. the piercings can become irritated and infected, the area being a good place for breeding bacteria. who uses a toothbrush to clean around a piercing?

Everything included, I think about $30 to $50. Call a few places and find out.

You need to call places and find out, it's different at every place. Some place will include the ring with the price, others will make you pay for it separately.
