I make jewellery, mostly ear rings and necklaces made of different kinds of stones, crystals, or pearls.. Recently I took pictures of my best stuff to put online, and maybe hopefully sell some.. but I'm not very optimistic since jewellery is something people like to try on before buying... what do you guys think?? Do you think I'll have any luck? The prices are very reasonable considering the quality.

i make the same stuff or use the same material as you. I had no luck and my prices were VERY reasonable. I suggest this. get a constant flow of returning customers. or frequent buyers. THEN tell them you are selling them on line and give flyers. THEY will then pass on the word and so on. FRIENDS who refer have stronger buyers then any advertisement.

if i'm investing in something like jewelry, i want to be able to inspect it before i purchase. most people are like that BUT, there are those that will always buy things online, even jewelry. i think as long as your jewelry is not high end and reasonable priced, you should be okay. i have a friend that buys earrings and bracelets online all the time. most people just have a taboo about purchasing online, especially if it's not a major dept store. they're scared the quality might not be like the picture, they want a sound return policy and they want to make sure their money isn't going to be taken, without the product getting sent. it's a trust issue, above everything.

I can only tell you my preference. I usually only buy jewelry off the internet that has NO risk, from places that will give you a full refund, including shipping!
Oh and MATH_TUTOR makes a great point, satisfied customers will no doubt tell their friends!

i just bought a chain from e bay and when it comes to jewelery its all about a good deal really cuz usually they already know how it would look on them or what they want...plz give me free shiping! ^,^
