Well, seeing as North Korea haven't actually done anything to the US and they are simply trying to develop weapons which the US has had for decades and refuses to get rid of, I don't really think there is any reason for the US to have sanctions against them (just like Cuba).

And let's not forget that the US have broken more UN resolutions than any other nation on earth, and they have used their security council veto more than anyone else.

Until the US start behaving themselves and even think about destroying their nukes, they don't have a leg to stand on.
