It appears the View might hire Mo'nique to replace Star Jones. She is a big black woman, and it's clear that the braindead producers seem to think viewers don't want to watch black women unless they're big and loud. I mean, it couldn't be more obvious why Star was let go.
What message does this send to black women? That you have to be fat to succeed in show business? Isn't it wrong for the View to discourage already obese black women to lose weight? Why should anyone be punished for that?

It sounded like B. Walters was jealous that Starr changed her appearance for the better and Barbara's appearance doesn't change no make how many face lifts she has

Star Jones had it coming.
People were already kinda pissed off for her being stuck up and her attitude off the set wasn't exactly respectable. She came off like a greedy *****. This doesn't happen to have anything to do with race. It wouldn't have mattered what color she was. Star Jones was just an embarassing pain in the ***.
Plus, she didn't get along with her co-hosts.
The only low blow was when Barbara Walters got that lesbo Rosie O'Donnell on the show this fall.
That really pissed Star Jones off. That's why she quit. In order to avoid that wreck.
Lastly, Star Jones is a flat out LIAR.
She went in for plastic surgery to get rid of her stomach. She got it shrunk and lied about it.
She told everyone she was on a diet and doing pilates.
HAHAHAHAHA.
She thinks everyone is stupid.

The show sucks regardless of who is on it. From what I heard it was her wedding talk that bored the hell out of america. It was like Kathy Lee Gifford talking about that damed Cody or what ever her sons name was. that' s the real reason why she had to leave LIVE with Regis. Peole hate it when all someone can do is talk about their own mundain lives all of the time like the world should be transfixed by the fact that they are just regular people!

i diddn't know monique was going to replace star jones that would be cool to have monique on the view. i think she will bring a bit of flavor to the show.

i think they let star go because she was getting to big for her britches. anyone that thinks she is that special turns people off and that is what she was doing. Ever since she got skinny she got holier than thou. that is what killed her... her attitude not her waistline. MHO
