I've been to Chicago several times, but i have NEVER been on the El. Any places i can go to that can give me an excuse to ride?

If you give directions, please start in the loop.

Here's a list of places that are easily accessible by train and bus. The train lines are called the Blue Line, Green Line, Red Line, Brown Line, Green Line, Orange Line, Purple Line and Pink line. Look for those in these descriptions and it will indicate which train to take and where to get off.

This list pretty much has EVERY attraction in Chicago that is accessible by train.

You're looking for an excuse to ride the El? Sounds a little weird, but also sounds a little like me. Off the subject, a friend and I have a little contest going over how many cities' subways we can ride. I'm ahead.

Anyway, you can go pretty much anywhere on The El. In Chicago even if the train runs underground its called The El, its screwy I know. You can go to Wrigley Field on the north side, Comiskey Park/The Cell on the south side, O'Hare airport northwest, Midway airport southwest and lots of other places.

Is there a particular place you want to go? You can probably take The El there.
