♡Usually some Japanese boys (or girls/people) don't get much of a chance to meet or see so many foreigners up close. They usually don't think about it! But I'm sure once they meet you, get to know you and get used to you, there'll be some boys who'll like you. The same as at home. I think many Japanese guys are very shy though. If you can speak some Japanese it will make it easier to communicate and you'll have a better chance!(*^o^*)

Practice a bit before you go.(^_-)-☆
I'm American and my hubby is Japanese!♡
Just my opinion...

I think most of the guys don't know whether or not they like black girls. Because we seldom see them and don't ponder what they are like.

Many Japanese are kind of racists since they are ignorant of foreigners.

Japan is a homogeneous nation. Many consider foreigners as a enigmatic alien. So we tend to avoid having relationship with them.

You must act aggressively in Japan. Try to talk to them. they will know you little by little and realize you're a good girl.

Japanese boys might not ask you out since they are shy. Actually, I've asked a girl out on a date only once. Therefore, try to tell a boy to hang out with you.

It just depends on the guy. My experience has been that the distinction here isn't race rather nationality. There is Japanese and then everyone else. Either a guy will date a foreign woman or he won't. The stereotype here is "Americans are rude". People always tell me, "You are polite I'm surprised that you are American." I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Just take care in how you present yourself. If you are here a limited time please don't expect something serious. A person who knows you are here for a limited time may not invest 100%. It may just be a fun ride while it lasts. If you think you may stay longer and want something more serious then make sure to speak up.

I live in Indonesia, where there are a high number of Japanese. When playing golf, all the ladies will cover themselves up as much as possible. This is because in Japan, to be dark, means to be "low class" like a peasant farmer. So the men must prefer to marry light-skinned women.

Now, I have some lady friends who work in Japanese karaoke bars here and they have to dress up in little sailor suits with short dresses to look like little Japanese school girls. This is what Japanese men seem to prefer when amongst themselves.

Of course, there will always be exceptions. For instance, when Japanese girls go to Bali, they are looking to get laid by dark-skinned Balinese guys. And I heard when Japanese girls go to Europe, they are looking to meet blacks for sex. But in both cases, this is when they are OUTSIDE of Japan but when they are INSIDE, they may behave much more conservatively.

So, don't be surprised if you encounter hypocrisy and prejudice, yet remember that those Japanese boys are probably dieing to date you.

ha as evreyone writes, it really depends on individuals. Do you really mean Japanese gus are cute? Wow...as a Japanese I don't feel like marrying a Japanese guy, for they look immature to me. Of coursr not everyone, but some of guys enjoy video games, reading manga....so are you going to catch a Japanese guy then?

From my experience, Japanese boys aren't extremely fond of people not their race. But two things to reiterate:
-They are not racist
-Every person is different

If you're seeking a Japanese boy, it shouldn't be too hard to meet with one and just talk. I don't know if you're college-aged or high-school aged. College-aged students tend to be more open to dating, while the high-school boys are really focused on studying. Why? They all told me that college is easy there, but not high school. Considering my foreign exchange student stays up until 1 AM every day working on school stuff, high school is definitely hard there.
