Is this the new marriage destroyer? Alot of the married women I fool around with say they are pissed off at their husbands because they spend all their time on the computer playing World of Warcraft or some other dorky-@ss computer role-playing game. Are guys really that pathetic they would rather pretend they were some elf than be in bed banging their wife?

The game is not so much the problem. The problem is the relationship. The game is more a catalyst. If you have problems, it will bring them out. This game gives them things to do and rewards them. Repeat. Repeat. If you are not doing that much for your guy in the relationship (forget the banging stuff we can get to that later), then a PC has more personality than you. Yes, this can be a marriage wrecker. However, you could use it as a positive thing and see that you need to make some changes. Guys, guys have pretty simple needs. They are not too hard to figure out. Now, if you are the computer game that yells at them, you probably need to be turned off. :) j/k Have fun w/all that and good luck. I think 33% of all Americans are between the ages of 35 and 45 and want nothing to do w/a relationship. It is freak'n scary how no one knows how to communicate.

at the moment I'm trying to get my husband back from the game.

Unfortunately I know what it is to play the game (I recently got a cold turkey from it :) ) and I know why all these ppl are addicted to it. I know they can't help it and most of the time they are really trying to stop.

the problem with WoW is that there isn't an end to it, you can always evolve you character so he gets better....

to answer your question, yes it will and is destroying marriages. But I believe that as wife or husband you can fight for your marriage.

Wait, wait. You were just posting questions about how your wife is not appreciative of you, and goes bowling with her friends and ignores your fancy dinners, and now you're saying you fool around with married women! No wonder your wife doesn't care for your "romantic" gestures! You can't cheat repeatedly and make up for it with cute dinners and then whine that she doesn't appreciate the dinners!

If you really care, you'll go to counselling with her.

As for WoW, my boyfriend is terribly addicted but it makes him happy. As long as I know in advance that he is going to be playing, I find my own things to do and it's actually kind of nice because we have our own time. He can spend his playing video games, I'll read a book or go out with my pals. So, as someone above just said, it's not about the game - it's about the relationship.

(Also, I don't think WoW is a primary place for rapists to lure little kids, as someone just said, though I'm sure it's happened.)

Hahaha - yeah world of warcraft is good at breaking up relationships, helping parents neglect their children, and helping perverts with hitting on children. It's pretty sad that people let a video game take precendence over their real lives.
