Sorry No Caffeine. Ask your doctor if you can drink Green tea. It has less caffeine and is better for you.

No Cigarettes, No second hand smoke, No Cleaning out Kitty litter. No Alcohol. There are a few others.

One look at your baby and it is so worth it. Just offer it up with any of the inconveniences or discomforts for your baby to be healthy and happy.

Not true! My doctor told me it was ok to drink at least 2 soft drinks a day! I was also reading in a magizine about how much caffine a pregnant person can drink! So go for it! I drink I don't know how much caffine when I was pregnant with my 10 month old daughter and she came out full term and was healthy as a horse! I am doing the same thing with this pregnancy as well! I am 8 months pregnant and I am just fine as well as my baby is!

Talk to your OBGYN to get all the details, but I don't see how a little bit of coffee can hurt you. If you only drink one cup a day it shouldn't hurt, perhaps you should just make it a little weaker that's all. But if the doc says no way, drink green tea it has just enough caffeine to calm the cravings but not horrible tasting.

Not completely true. If you're having a small amount (like a two cup limit per day) you should be fine. But you don't want to be taking caffeine pills or big energy drinks. I personally don't drink coffee, but if I have one caffeinated soda per day, I don't feel guilty about it.

It is best to avoid caffeine when pregnant. Evidently a lot of people deal with this problem by finding that they get nauseated by the smell of coffee. Otherwise, wean yourself off by going half-caf and then to decaf. Yeah I know, decaf isn't real and tastes horrible...it's only for awhile (pregnancy and nursing if you choose to)!

My wife is a real coffee addict, but for the first couple of months, she couldn't stand the stuff. I'd say to lay off for the first three months, anyway. They are the most critical.
