I want to find out if there are some successful stories out there about ppl that kept secrets of one mistake or two that they made early in relationships...I.E. if you cheated on them the first month or few months...and never told him....anyone do that and have something to show while keeping it quiet???

Yeah, I have a story, I'll make it short. My husband and I were engaged when this happened. I was raped by a "friend" of mine, and I didn't tell him about it for a month; then when I did, I didn't tell him the whole story. Little by little, he found out what had happened. I thought that telling him everything would make things better, but it didn't. He was VERY upset and angry and hurt, and would have left me if he hadn't come to his senses.
I have nothing to show for keeping it quiet. If my conscience hadn't bothered me so much, I would never have told him any of it. Secrets always have a way of coming out. The best thing is to never have any.

Is telling him just going to hurt him and make him mad? (IE you DID cheat on him?) Then DO NOT tell him. If it's not something that you will do again, there is no point in opening that can of worms. Forgive yourself, or forget about it, just move on. If it's bigger than that, u'r guys' kid might not be his...you have to decide how you will feel if he leaves you. There are a lot of guys out there who are STAND UP guys, and will stay with you no matter what. But there are a lot out there that aren't stand up, and will leave. You have to decide how you would feel if you were him, and you got the news. Good luck whatever you decide.

Yes, I kept a couple secrets from him, but eventually through the course of our relationship I came clean.
