Ok, I was watching a hidden camera show today, and they were showing a tape from a hidden camera in a lockeroom (no one was naked at all) and it showed two guys stealing stuff from other peoples lockers. But what is a camera doing in a lockeroom in the first place? It sounds kinda perverted to me. The two guys got arrested but shouldnt the people who put the camera in the locker room get in trouble to? I wouldnt want anyone watching me. Shouldnt the people stealing the stuff in the lockers, and the people who put the camera up, both get in trouble? What do you think about that?

Maybe the camera was put in the locker room for a reason, like people was stealing stuff and they wanted to catch it on camera. So, the camera is there and they caught the people and now the camera should be taken down if there is no more stealing.

you r truly wrong i suppose..... there is no need 4 the person who put the hidden camera to BE A TOAST.... its just 4 a safety.... of course no body will like 2 b watched up by some damn 3rd person.. even i wont like it.... but i suppose u ought be knowing that its a rule that they should have hidden cameras in locker room....like all other important department shops..,and many other places... i think hidden cameras r really needed in locker rooms.. cause u have all valuable things in it... k i tell you one last thing.... see if there was no hidden camera in the locker room then they could not have found out who is the culprit .. just because they had a camera hidden in the room they were able 2 save the things that were to be stolen... so CHANGE YOUR MIND... WAT U THOUGHT WAS TRULY WRONG... IT WAS ALL 4 A GOOD....

There was a case in OK where a coach hid a camera in the girls locker room and he was arrested for it. I don't think there should be cameras in areas like that, but I also don't think people should steal from other people, so they are both wrong.

I agree with you. The guys who stole should get into trouble and the guys who put the camera in the lockeroom should get into trouble. Who knows how long that camera has been in their for and what is on their tapes! Perves!!

Sounds pretty cut and dried to me. Obviously, the cameras are there for security purposes, and the tapes are probably never viewed unless someone reports a theft, like in this case. I would feel MORE secure about being in this kind of locker room than in one I knew wasn't being watched.

You definitely have a point. There should be signs posted in that locker room stating that there are cameras in use, at the very least. I know i would be upset if I was being taped.

It's similar to having video cameras in changing rooms in stores. If the people using the locker room are informed, there's nothing illegal or wrong about it.
