Theres this one place by downtown in Little Tokyo called Komasa. Its very small and quiet (about 4 tables and a sushi bar), and the sushi is the best. Its by Central Ave, 351 East 2nd street. los angeles, CA 90012. (213)680-1792. The chefs are Japanese unlike some places. but you must be prepared to wait if you dont have a reservation since it does get full. they dont open until 5:30pm.
