Vince Lombardi, because of the teams he developed, and the way they won. You knew what they were going to do, and they just slapped you with it. The players themselves say that he brought out the best in them, got them to play better than they knew they could, he was hard on them(Parcells is a pussycat compared to Lombardi) and they loved him for it. John Madden may have the best winning percentage, but Lombardi's fingerprint on the league and the game, can still be felt. If I needed one coach to take a team he is the only one I would consider.

Don shula. Not just because of the undefeated season though. Also he went to 6 super bowls and won 2. Also he stuck with the dolphins for almost 40 years. Also he won over 330 regular season games. Come on no one else compares.

The Current Portugal Football team coach. (no clue what his name is, am not a fan of ball, but have heard his fame). I understand he took Brazil a couple of times to win the world cup and he manage to take the portugal team (a little known team) to the semi finals in the world cup.

Tom Landry is the man.

So many consecutive winning seasons. He built a dynasty and kept them strong for years. Not to mention he passed the test of time. He was the head coach for so many years.
