Who actually cares about celebrities and what goes on in their life?

Ok....people are just mad about celebrities and them having babies and naming them after book characters and fruits, their new movies, them struggling with eating disorders, divorces, but I mean.....who cares? I was watching TV one day and the dumbest story was that Eva Longoria changed her hair color. I could really care less about that. And I'm tired of the anorexically skinny actresses, because they are all screwed and they shouldnt've become famous if their purpose was to just starve themselves and try to make it sound like it's a good thing. So, tell me your opinions on celebrities.

i know but if it's like big news like whos gettin married or in a scandal or somethin juicy like that i want to here about it. but i hate it when they just talk about where they were spotted eatin or what color their hair is now or what they were spotted doin. that annoys me becuz it's stupid and stalkerish. i can't see how ppl follow celebrities around for money just to report where they were eatin. and all these anorexic stars r ignorant and should know that that's not healthy and they don't look good. but the thing that gets me is that all the divorce stuff and Britney spears droppin her baby....all that stuff happens to real ppl but becuz they're stars it's worth tons of $ to write two pages on it when there isn't that much to be said. but i do like when they show the celebrities fashions and where u can get somethin like it for a lower price and have that style.

I think America's obsession with the rich and famous has gotten out of hand, I mean I'd be watching CNN or any news channel for that matter and if you pay attention to the scroll and you'd see things about what new boyfriend an actress has or some boy band guy coming out and what's actually the top story is about the number of people dying in the war in the middle east..I mean has the world gone to the dogs!! It's crazy, and then who are all these different entertainment shows, who are they to tell me that if I don't have the season's latest color then I'm a loser or I should be locked up...it's insane....but I guess you have to look at a total society shift and what people really care about because if we cared about humanity like we claim to then this wouldn't be happening. I'm glad someone brought this up.

Well, secondly, you are dumb for posting that question. If you did not care about them. Why did you took out of your schedule to post that question? Another thing, you don't know what goes in there lifes. I don't think you have experienced the fame idea. If celebrities were taken off televison- pretty much would not be any entertainment. HELL! If you were famous, i'd bet you would love someone flaunting over your body and letting the world know, when you changed your hair. Each ti their own, if everyone was the same it would be a very boring place, maybe they think we are all drop kicks, who knows and as you said who cares. So why ask a question, if you don't care that much...
i don't care and i don't read or watch any of it problem solved and if i do its a good laugh at what screwed up lives they have and how they are just upper class junkies

Other than Nick Lache and Jessica Simpson I could care less. These celebrities think that they are Gods gift to us. I wouldn't walk across the street to see most of them. I am interested in the Lache/Simpson thing because it is like a situation I have found myself in.

I dont think anyone "cares" about thier lives per se, like they care about thier parents lives or thier kids lives. I think its popular because its a distraction from thier own lives. People also seem to take pleasure in others misfortune, and since celebrities are known to most people and make a lot of money, people find pleasure in thier misfortunes with relationships, failed career attempts etc...

I think they should flip up that red carpet,sweep all of them under it..and then possibly rip out the stars on the hall of fame walk and also the papaarazzi should take their pictures,slip them a bill,if they want to purchase the snapshots.That way we would actually see who has the biggest ego,after all!!

i recognize Celebs.... nicely the sturdy ones. they're only commonplace people notwithstanding... yet all of us is widely used with there call! Orlando Bloom doesnt stand infront of a digicam allday. ..in the present day he's amazingly in the back of a digicam shooting in Nepal. Merry Christmas xx
