i want to set a MP3 as a ringtone is that possible?

Which Treo do you own?
Treo 600?
Treo 650?
Treo 700p?

I know that with both the 600 and the 650 you will need to download and install a small Palm OS application to enable the use of MP3s as ring tones. The native ring tone format for those 2 Treos is MIDI and there are plenty of free MIDI ring tones on the web. I have a 650 and all I have to do is download the MIDI file to my PC and then email it to my Treo. The Treo will recognize the MIDI and will ask if I wish to add it to my list of ring tones.
I'm not sure what ring tone format the new 700s use.
MMPlayer and Ptunes are just 2 of the apps that will allow you to use MP3s as ring tones on your Treo.

Yes. Make the ringtone, then transfer it using Bluetooth. U will need to buy a bluetooth adapter for your computer.
