Hey,
POP3 mail accounts
Its just simple. Click on the messages and SELECT all the messages your want to delete. Press the DELETE icon on the top of the TOOL bar.
Your Inbox will be Clean
FOr INTERNET BASED Email account:
Select the (SELECT ALL) button on the email window and PRESS DELETE ALL next to IT.
BINGO!

If you're referring to Yahoo Mail...and want to get rid of everything in the Inbox...click the box next to Sender...that should cause all your email in the Inbox to be selected...then click Delete.

there will be a check all option. click that. all the mails in the inbox will be selected. now click on delete. there will be a confirmation. click Yes. that's it
