SO after reading the answers, wouldn't it be wise for us to finally stand up? Take V For Vendetta for example. When everyone stands up for their rights, there is nothing the government can do.
We've been letting him and his peers get away with murders and I mean it literally since 9/11. And the situation will worse.

Because he is a weak leader for one, but for the same reason all other politicians are doing the same. They are seeking constituents at any cost to protect their power and all of the money their position brings them as well. Our government is full of fully self interested people. The term "public servant" is a joke, they serve themselves with the publics money is about all they do.
VOTE AGAINST ALL INCUMBENTS (running for re-election) THIS COMING ELECTION! They have failed to do their jobs, so lets fire all of them and give new people a chance. If the new people do the same, fire them too. Lets send a message regardless of what party you perfer!

Bush is doing it because we are letting him do it. I couldn't even begin to tell you how we could stop him, but there has to be a way. Our Senators are right there with him, so asking them for help is not the answer. The bright spot in this is that he won't be president forever - I HOPE>
