KISS : Tore open my discovery of Rock n' Roll as a very young 13 year old with their bluesy sharp-edged stinging guitar sounds, wild costumes/face makeup and MEGA-HUGE stage shows.

Lynyrd Skynyrd / Outlaws / Blackfoot / Molly Hatchet: Their sounds and simple gritty stage image made me, a teen growing up in Washington State, like my whiskey smooth n' sweet....my women wildflower hot.....and my chicken fried....thank you, kindly.

ELO / Kansas : Classical music marries rock n' roll: American and British versions of this formula were so cool to jam to.

Boston / Cheap Trick: Two more good reason to love the 70's. Everyone else loved Foreigner and the Stones to overkill levels; I strove for individuality.

The Clash / DEVO: Individuality.....oh, here it is....FOUND IT!!

The Eagles: "Those Shoes", "Hotel California" and "Seven Bridges Road"....what more can I say bout them????

Twisted Sister/ Urge Overkill : Two defiant fists of rock rage against music that began to suck....Twisted Sister led the attack; Urge Overkill followed along. Tragically, "big hair and hip/hop crap" managed to break in....and tune me out.
