Do most of you know America was one of 2 coutries in the whole world that has not joined the world court.....I want some opinions on that and what is the other country that didn't join either.

Because war crimes could be charged and some people might get prosecuted ... that's why.

The idea of a world court sounds very creepy very Orwellian.
(One World Government ring a bell?) I am hoping they feel the same way. It is fine to have meetings and discussions but world court can backfire. Who's the other country? Mine I hope.

What hippocrasy,you are above the law.Lies and deceit are easy for the unimpeachable You bask and wallow in the mistaken belief you are the envy of the world If you care to look,you'll find at least a dozen countries with a higher standard of living You'll also find your low paid workers at the bottom of OECD

Its because we are above the laws of the world, everone has to do what we say not the other way around. We have been on top so long we have become the perfect society, we have no need to to partake in a lesser court.

We won't surrender sovereignty in this world. Remember most of the world is jealous of the US in terms of production and standard of living. Would you agree to be judged by people who hate you? This also why we have a veto in United Nations.
