If you are not used to wearing hiking boots and do a lot of outdoor activities in them, your feet will peel because of excess moisture and rubbing from the boots.

It's okay. Just let the skin peel. Your feet are healing so let nature take its course. If you want to help it heal faster, put a lot of lotion on your feet and cover them with thick socks, at bedtime.

Did you get blisters from the hiking boots? That could be one reason. Another could just be too much moisture, ie sweat, & that can make the dead skin on your feet sluff off. You know how your feet get after swimming all day? It's sort of like that. Use a pumice stone (cheap at any WalMart, Target, etc.) after you shower & that should take care of it.

It's not genetic as such. It's due to too much dampness while you wore that boots and skin is trying to replenish by itself. However, it's natural so need not worry. There is a cream for feet called "Crack cream" in the stores and comes in different brands so just choose the best one and apply once a daily preferably bed time. What it does is it peels off the old skins and moisturize your feet by bringing smooth new skin.

Okay. To stop it from peeling you soak your feet in water for a very loong time. Then get some pumice and scrape all that loose skin off. Rub some feet lotion on it to make it stop. Tp make your feet feel and look healthy all the time its good if you do it every two weeks or so.

Soak your feet for about 15 min. Exfoliate with a pumice stone then follow with a good moisturizer.

scrape it off with that foot scruber thing. it's just dead skin so scrape it off. and a way to prevent that is walk in sand becuz for some reason(don't ask me why ask my parents) it smoothes ur skin. and u could also lotion ur feet at night before u go to bed and wear socks to bed so the moisture keeps it smooth and non peeling.

Apply some Johnson's Baby gel on your feet every day. It'll moisturize and it also smells very good, too.
